I used to take part in Christmas gatherings when o was a kid, because I didn't know it was religious. When I was older, I only did it for the kids & an excuse to drink, party & celebrate family. It was more of a personal tradition than religious. I don't take part anymore coz I have no reason anymore. Others may tho, that's fine, have fun. I used too.

Yes and I as an atheist do rituals to because rituals to me are nothing more than a means to focus the brain on an end goal and task and to motivate the ritual caster to get from point A to B

You don't have to be a 'witch' in order to celebrate the wheel of the year either. I consider myself a humanist/atheist pagan in that I like the different pagan holidays but don't believe in the goddesses or gods as real beings, more like mythical beings. I like the ritual part of the pagan celebrations.

I take a psychological approach to ritual and the gods and goddesses as merely being representations of natural forces and human behaviour throughout time to help people understand different things And working with different beliefs and gnosi from different people and periods provide numerous way of interacting with your own mind

I've sat in with a Wiccan coven. During said "ritual" they essentially just prayed out loud, I think it was to Persephone and Ganesha. They also made it perfectly clear this isn't the sort of thing you should take up if you don't have the time or stability to do it right and on time, because apparently 'Gods' tend to take offense when the supposedly faithful aren't 100% on point with their worship and they supposedly take it out on your life rather than your body. I lacked the stability to even start much less maintain this form of worship, so I can't personally claim to have any experience with the supposed backlash. -All that being said the key factor in a lot of these things is how much you personally believe in it. I don't believe a voodoo priestess could make a zombie out of me any more than I believe God is just sitting on his ass watching us all with a bucket of popcorn.

i wasn't raised religious but i've always been drawn to spooky shit, probably _because_ stereotypical christians don't like it. and today is my birthday, after all.

Think of me as a logical robot. I'm less passionate about pronouns, religious or otherwise superstition, lizard aliens and such. I just look at the obvious through the lens of science. If people want too throw a wobbly & unsubscribe because of differing views, let them. They don't take anything away from you, your views or the channel. Just be you & keep going anyway. ❤️👍😊

One of my everlasting issues is with "race". If there's only one human race, how than can there be races. If the English are the human race, then what the hell are the African & Chinee? Aliens from another planet? No, we are all the same race. So loose use of words is becoming a serious problem, which results in the loss of ability to communicate. We are differing "variations" of the same creature/ human. Lighter or darker shades of same human skin colour, us. Racial discrimination is a mental illness. People hate the rest of them self? Maybe next, people will hurt the other guy because he's wearing different clothes today. It becomes insanity. What happened too equality through acceptance?

Pagans man... We are herding cats. Personally, I do not like people celebrating Halloween like our culture does. I find it disrespectful, and commercial for high holiday. I do see all of the positives. *AND* A lot of my peers and their children feel like this is their favorite holiday... It is funny. I get the idea for the war on Christmas. My favorite holiday is Christmas, Sol Invictus, Yule... But all the Christians need to CHILL THE F OUT. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean you have to express your displeasure toxicly, or possibly at all.
