I just had to write and let you know how much my granddaughter loves to watch your videos. She checks her IPad first thing everyday to see what's new and how you guys are. She's not very happy when Mary is in the hospital but she feels better knowing Ollie is with her. Now I want to let you know that Kayla is 17 but is not an ordinary teenager. She has multiple handicaps and was also born three months prematurely. Her mommy is my daughter Meghan who has some developmentally disabilities as well though minor. We were on vacation at the Jersey shore when Kayla was born...surprise! We knew nothing about the pregnancy. God blessed us with this beautiful child that is for sure. Anyway, she follows everything that goes on...she thinks Peter is handsome but her favorite is Ollie...lol. We are fortunate that she is so compassionate and empathetic. She has gone to a small school for special needs kids since she was three and has even lost some classmates over the years. She really feels connected to you guys and sort of believes that you are talking directly to her. She will say " Gammy, Mary talk to me!" Well just wanted you let you guys know how very important you are to one little girl who loves you so much.

Deborah Rushing I’ve been watching since I was about 14 and I feel like they’re a good impression on teenagers of her age. I’m now 18 and Vlogging to never ever forget my good days with disabilities. I was born full term but have several disabilities and interesting life circumstances… if there’s anything I’ve REALLY picked up from The Frey Life is that you have to look for the good and laugh every day. Yeah, days may absolutely suck but there’s SOMETHING good in it. I can’t tell you how much that one thing they’ve taught me has a huge positive impact on me AND my family!

Tara Cole Unless things have changed, Mary’s 02 levels are fine, she isn’t on 02. She and Peter have kind of sorta addressed the transplant questions. You know, not everyone is transplant approved or qualified, besides, The transplant may not take. You know her organs are involved, portable hypertension, pancreas, other things. It isn’t just her lungs, although her lungs are very sickly. I am unsure if Mary is considering lung transplant, it would be something very frightening, I am sure. Considering she qualifies. Transplants are critically serious.

alex4alexn If she were to receive new lungs, they'd be free of CF, but she will have to take medication that suppress her immune system so her body won't reject the new lungs. A lung transplant is not a cure; her entire body is affected by CF, and even with a lung transplant, she'd still have liver disease, splenomegaly, pancreatic insufficiency, and sinus problems.

It is so true seize the moment we always think there's going to be tomorrow's and I will say I let too many things of the tomorrow's and now some of my children are grown. The older I get embrace the moment. My heart prayer to the Lord is that you receive healing. I know she's young and she's never dated she's waiting for God's best. Mary you sound like you caught a cold. Hospitals have so many germs in them. Pump vitamin C. Can't hurt , don't forget to mask up. They sell great one on Amazon that have replaceable charcoal lined disposable inserts. . They work great and you are so vulnerable right now. Love and blessing to you guys.

I pray that her lungs can rebound and more treatment options will be available to help CF patients recover on their own. A lung transplant is so risky and shouldn't be the only option. If governments can fund endless and pointless wars, surely more money can be devoted to finding better treatments for CF. That's a battle worth fighting!

Getting a sense of what kind of music you like/artists you connect with, I'm wondering if you have ever heard of the artists JJ Heller and Jenny & Tyler. It seems we have similar taste in music, and those two duos have been such consistent musical ushers in revealing God's love and the power of hope and faith and encouragement during bright times and especially tougher seasons in life. Often in very subtle but tremendously eloquent and peaceful ways. If you haven't heard of them, I highly recommend checking them out! Praying your body/lungs get some substantial relief, and may you both (plus the pupper!) enjoy every last big and little summery moment!

You should keep one of those plastic hospital throw up pans in your bedrooms or small plastic trash cans. It's probably less trouble to clean them out well and disinfect them than getting vomit out of towels.
