Okay i know Aew is STACKED & there's not many places left but I don't wanba see his style of wrestling getting cut & getting limited due to wwe's Strict wrestling style policy. Honestly the wrestling world is in a place right now where you can not only create a great legacy but also make a good living without ever going to wwe. For this reason alone whether you like the product or not but if you’re a wrestling fan you should genuinely want other companies like AEW or NJPW to succeed because it’s simply better for the wrestlers. Will so far has done that, he’s crafted a great career and legacy without being in wwe I’m sure he also makes a decent buck out of it and the most important thing is that he’s happy with what he’s doing.

Will Ospreay is a national treasure. I mean, if we pretend the process is the same, it’s like asking a really good tournament basketball player why they don’t join the NBA. Whether you like it or not, WWE is global, funded, and good for exposure. But we’re wrestling fans who know better. Success and exposure can really only go as far as the company can, and WWE has brought a lot of exposure for that. But it’s also why they are so strict, which in itself makes people want to stay away. It’s just the biggest company right now, undeniably. But of course, bigger does NOT mean better.

You do what you want to do and what suits you. That said you’re in the wrestling business WWE is the top of the pile like it or not, it’s the pinnacle of the business. Most wrestlers would at the end of their career regret not taking the shot.

Vince "wouldn't get him", WWE-ism for "Vince won't push hard someone that comes from the outside and was very famous on the outside". That's who that guy is. 90% of the outsiders have a ceiling in WWE. Among all the people that got over outside WWE, only two people are an exception to that, with defferent levels of success: Seth and AJ. I know someone will say "oh but Cody and Drew..." No, they were in WWE first. It's different, they still are "products of the WWE". Vince will never push someone who got himself over outside WWE as a top star, because in his mind means validating other companies as equals. That's how petty he is.

I've been saying that ever since vinny mac turn his promotion into a carichature of "wrestling". He came out and called it "sports entertainment", gave away most of the secrets, told everyone he's making movies, and doesn't even let most of the talent he steals from the "competition" wrestle to their full abiltiy because he's putting over some bodybuilder with almost no wrestling skills at all.
