The reason why Karachi’s food is so admired is because it’s (not only a Food Capital) a Metropolitan City,every culture wether Punjabi or Pashtoon,Sindhi or Balochi,Gujrati or Karachi’s own local food is available in Karachi and In the best quality. Trust me guys when I tell you Karachi is the King of food. Harry couldn’t go to the prime locations in Karachi and instead went to street side stalls mostly of the time and doesn’t have the experience he could pave that he had in Lahore

I was born and brought up in Karachi Mehmoodabad in my youth it was considered a rough part of Karachi . I have been living in UK for four decades British are very good at donating to charitable causes and beggars but letting strangers to stay in your home is a big no no . I must say people in Karachi particularly and in Pakistan generally are friendlier than westerners and those who can afford to help will help foreigners as a matter of national prestige .

For an average Pakistani, Karachi’s food is better because they add tons of spices to even make a simple fried egg 😬 For a Lahori, it’s a bit lesser in terms of spice! So may be because of the spicy thing Foreigners appreciate Lahori food more.. I am Lahoriya never been to Karachi but my friend’s mom is from Karachi and she is such a superb cook with all the spicy food👩‍🍳!
