These are the best videos-you’re alone and sharing your knowledge. Good stuff.

What I love about your content is you show your mistakes as you teach!

I’m very impressed with your knowledge of the 8 second rule. I learnt about that on GB archery squad in 1983 and it is a brilliant piece of information to have. I have used it for so many years now it comes as second nature in any target sport I do, and putting is no exception. I’ve managed to play my last 3 rounds without anything over a 2 putt by using the method for distance control that you just explained. I picked that up from one of your videos from a while back and I’ve reduced the number of putts per round dramatically. Great video again, your delivery of knowledge is one of the best on KZbin.

Yes I think so I play bogey golf and I’m averaging high 40s low 50s I don’t hit the ball real long but I still get bogeys most of the time when my putting gets better I will get more pars

Great vid Chris, love your content and very relevant to me. As a high HC new golfer looking to shoot in the 90s, BOGEY golf is my mindset. On a Par 4 with a SI of 5, I would approach this hole as a Par 6 in terms of personal expectation. If the SI was >9, then it would be a Par 5 in my mind.

Nice vid mate, I try not to put pressure on my game as you have shown and play to my handicap. And I believe it was little Danny Willet

Afternoon Chris, great course management tips again. The good thing for me is that it's real time and not perfect. As a high handicap golfer I invariably beat myself up after a bad shot. But in reality even the PGA Pro's, with everything at their disposal, regularly get it wrong.

I like to refer to some holes as par 4.5s. Always looking for the par , not unhappy with a bogey.

Great video Chris... Is it not Danny Willetts home course. I always play the hole par +1, this does help me as I'm a high handicapper, does help keeping high scores off the card (well sometimes 😂😂) 👍👏

This what I’m starting to do…I’ve looked at all my good rounds and the one think I’m common of those rounds is I didn’t have any doubles or higher. A bogey is good on any hole and I know the pars will come to me it’s the double and mistakes I have to try to control.

When I am faced with an approach distance I know I cannot make, I try to lay up to my "comfort zone" distance from which I can hit a wedge into the green. Too many times I see players try to get "close to the green" and end up in a bunker or long rough and have a tougher shot than me with my wedge!! Just a thought!!
