With better course management and not hitting driver every tee shot, im now back down to mid to low 80s. Once i can start hitting driver a bit better again hopefully ill be back into the 70s with better course management. Bogies on tough par 4s is always good for anybody. Keeping ball in play and not taking drops is so much more fun and works wonders for your score and confidence.

However, my channel did take off making videos about social Security and other things and now I’m pretty successful, traveling in an RV at 65 years old basically videoing my life. My Social Security videos made me popular a year ago with millions of views. So I’m sitting here in Utah in my RV and I’m subscribed to your channel I was thinking let me check in and see what you’re up to and I saw the thumbnail of you in the hospital! I make devotional videos two or three times a week along with my regular videos as I am a Christian and I tell people on my channel nobody is promised tomorrow live your life today. I’m gonna be praying for you and prayer works my friend. Thank God for your wife and you were home and lots of other things that many have already said. You will be stronger and better and your KZbin channel will grow even larger in the weeks ahead. Get well soon and don’t worry for tomorrow for tomorrow. 😎-ST

DUDE! First time post and first watch of any of your content. I've never even heard of you until i was scrolling randomly earlier and stopping because i thought you like looked like some jerseys guy you see from movies. This is fucking amazing! I love the approach you are taking. Almost like a confidence, thought coach take. I think most have heard many times from old timers, about using 7 iron only on par 4s , but dont ever do it. But ithere is something different going on here. You've got a beautiful swing and its obvious you can play. I really enjoyed this. Please dont take this the wrong way and it may not come out how I hope it does. I have this funny thought that pops up at different times in the video that i see a golfing version of Ron Burgundy. I honestly loves this. I cant decide if this a character youve created or not. As I said before, it's obvious you can play. You have a perfect classic swing and finish. I love the style of humor going on. Im sorry if you took any of that wrong. Far from it. If this is a character you have made you need a movie. I'd go to watch. And if its not a character you developed it doesn't matter, it's still great stuff. You are on to something. Thank you. Im going to share this not just to my golfing friends but all of my friends. Take care man.

Bogeys are, for most of us, your friend. I could always hit the ball a fairly long way. Several pars every round and often a birdie. But still typically shoot in the mid-90’s or sometimes worse - too many doubles and triples, from too many drivers out of bounds, trying to thread hybrids 200+ yards into a green guarded by water, or mindlessly trying to blast a 3-wood off the deck with no real goal in mind. There is some great advice here.

I'm old. I like to put my foot up on a bench and very slowly move towards my knee. Switch, do the other side. I do this until I can feel my hip Flexer muscles deciding to cooperate. I also will spread my feet pretty wide and slowly turn the upper body side to side. Don't force it, go slowly. Stay with it just a bit and slowly try to go farther each time. I try to get some stretching at home before I arrive at the course. I will stretch more once I get there, before I hit a few range balls. If you feel loose, you can swing easy like Jimmy stated.

Enjoyed the info. I have no handicap established so I will ask this knowing that slope, average score and other things come in to play but what does a 25 handicapper generally score?
@StephenHall-ew1dx9 ай бұрын
A general rule for calculating handicap is that your handicap number is your average strokes over par. So if you are a 25 handicap, generally that would mean you average 25 shots over par per 18 holes.. The calculation is not exact for the trolls out there but its relatively correct! So if par is 72, 25 Handicap means you average 97 strokes per 18 holes..

@phreak7617 ай бұрын
@@StephenHall-ew1dxHandicap has nothing to do with your average strokes, it's calculated using your best 8 rounds out of your last 20. A 10 handicap does not average 82 on a par 72 course, they may shoot 82 8 out of 20 times, the other 12 times they may shoot 105. Golf will kill you if you think you're supposed to shoot your handicap or less every time.
