He financed Frogmore Cottage for Harry after his marriage and gave him a generous sum of money when he left for America. William as a working royal gets paid from Charles’s estate. She had mental issues from the start, even when they were happily married. Also it has been stated that Diana was the first to have an affair. That interview was made when she was told things that weren’t true. She bitterly regretted giving that interview. Charles and Diana were friends after the divorce. Look at the two KZbin pages I’ve given above, about his relationship with his sons. They were there especially William, who was his mother’s confidant.
