I grew up not far from Mary Kathleen Collins and am from the same time period. Every relationship is different, Mary. It seems to me, that although Linda Evans (who looked like you BTW) was an innocent, lovely and magical actress and woman, that actually might have been a big problem with John Derek. He was no exactly the head in the sand, naive sort of man. I am guessing. But I doubt he was. He seemed quite worldly. As wonderful and fault free as Linda was, I do not think she was really his type. She was certainly a very wonderful woman, as my mom would say. But maybe just TOO wonderful. Too perfect. John seemed like a rough around the edges swinging sort of dude. I do think Evans relationship with Yanni was more her cup of tea. She was also fabulous on Dynasty! Her good spirit shined through to make her the queen of the show. Her heart was temporarily broken. But she was really TOO good for him. He was a typical Hollywood guy. She was not a typical actress. You are. Glad that you are also a Republican, BTW. You actually did her a favor in the long run. She was able to find another perfect soul like her own self. I really don't think you should feel more guilt. You might feel you paid a bit before. You were thoughtless but very young. You did the beautiful lady a favor over time. My take on it.😢😅

How about we just leave Vanessa do what she feels. She needs to do. We don’t know the truth. Why talk about it and people make bad choices and decisions we live to regret it and if people are making decisions for the right reasons, they have nothing to be forgiven for so why don’t we let God stop judging her I only always heard negative things about Kobe Bryant‘s parents if he wanted to make a man would’ve been made before he passed away and it would’ve been all over the TV but it wasn’t them over the TV. It was never talked about magazine the way it’s right, but that is not Vanessa decision. He made a decision, just honoring it just stop pointing and let God leave her alone
