Sounds really grubby-i like it! i reckon it would be great in a two guitar situation. Slight bias here as one of my bands uses a pickle+hm2 combo.

How yould you differentiate the Pariah from the GCI Jugendstil? I saw a comment from Kurt Ballou that the curcuits are completely different, but just curious how you would compare them? Great video!

Jugendstil is basically a fuzz with a straight-up HM-2 EQ. The Pariah is based on the Way Huge Swollen Pickle, which doesn't use an HM-2 EQ but will do it's own fuzzy version of the chainsaw sound. That can be heard on END, as well as from a few bands that Will Putney produced (Knocked Loose probably the most well-known to adopt the Swollen Pickle).

@ParanormalArson thanks, yep, I have the Jugendstil but am also a big fan of End and KL. Because of that, the Pariah was very tempting but I ultimately decided to stick with what I have...for now!

@@thejoelmeister Yep, they use different means to get there but you're not likely missing out if you don't get the Pariah. I have the Swollen Pickle and it's cool, but it's not all that different from when I ran an HM-2 with the gain off/Level around 12:00 in front of a Big Muff. Maybe a slight little snarl/cocked wah type thing on the SP.
