Will Resident Evil 9 Be REVEALED At The Game Awards 2024?

I think it’s just 50/50. Hopefully we see it though! I could see a quick teaser like when the RE4 remake was revealed. Then reveal a date of the next state of play or whatever for sometime in the near first quarter next year.

I hope after the reception from the remakes they go back to their roots and have third person in 9

I feel like they will, as the Ethan games being in first person had a narrative purpose since Ethan is supposed to be an everyman type of guy without a face, but if RE9 has one of the older and more established character as the protagonist, they will for sure go third person again.

All I want is for RE9 to be 3rd person and Jill for the main character. Real 3rd person like RE2/RE3/RE4 remakes. Not that ugly, Bethesda type of 3rd person from RE8

I’m not quite sure, but probably it’s too soon. At least if Capcom is planning to do another showcase somewhere around early 2025, then I think they’ll announce probably Resident Evil 9 or a remake of the criminally underrated Code: Veronica.

I really hate to say it but i got a strong feeling there won't be anything Resident Evil related at the game awards because capcom had plenty of other opportunities to announce and show off Resident Evil 9 or at the very least announce it and they blew it with every opportunity

The leaks are already out. I seen at least 2 different sources that gave the plot, setting, mcs, etc. I don't remember which channels they're on but credible/ plausible leaks are already circulating.

I honestly think they're gonna wait later in the year 2025 with like a Sony SOP or Summer Game Fest 2025 to announce Resident evil 9 and I only say that because they want as much attention on MH Wild's which is their biggest franchise ever. I could be wrong and I hope I'm wrong but I wouldn't be surprised if they did wait.
