I work in vet med, and a handy trick with feisty cats is to do the "purrito", which you guys are already doing, and you can also use a rolled up towel to make a sort of 'donut' around her neck if she's a biter. It can keep her from being able to twist around as easily to grab a hand when she's ready to rumble. A Feliway diffuser in the room can also make her a little calmer about the situation, and following meds up with a really awesome, super special treat can do wonders for making things a little easier since you're in it for the long run. My cat is the devil for getting eye drops and, like yours, she's prone to a lot of upper respiratory infections, and it's never going to be easy peasy lemon squeezy but AT LEAST by following up with special snacks that she only gets after her medication, she's excited to come over and get it over with. Your vet may also be able to give you guys a demonstration of how, exactly, they'd go about giving the meds. Just knowing the exact hand placement can make a huge difference and it's a hard thing to explain via text or voice. Sometimes it's a lot easier to show someone how to do it.

Hey guys just a certified pet nutritionist and long time pet lover with some advice! Try mixing her pill in with a liquid treat. Like Iniba has yogurt type treats you can squeeze of a plate and mix it in that. Cats don’t drink enough water to actively consume the whole pill when needed, that’s why their food and treats have more moisture and why were food is so highly recommended(another option to mix the pill in) also if you don’t already have one look into a water fountain, cats physically can’t see water unless it’s moving. I love you all so much, I’m a new watcher who found you on Facebook and now can’t end my day without an adorable video of our girl Abbie!

I had a situation kind of like Summer's once. I worked at a restaurant about 30 hours a week, and I had a friend with three kids who I lived with for free. She was a single parent and worked from midnight-6am each day, so I just had to be home for that time, in case the kids woke up, or just to make sure the house was safe. She came home at 6, and went to sleep. She originally had been getting up after like 2 hours to get the kids ready for school, but even though they were only 7, 5, and 4, but they had decided that they could do it on their own so she could sleep, and they actually did a great job! They would sometimes knock on my door for help with like, using the toaster 😂 but they got to school (directly across the street from the house for the older two, and a friend's parent would take the 4 year old to preschool from there, bc they also had kids at both schools) all on their own. This way, their mom could wake up by 12:30 when the younger ones came home from kindergarten and preschool and be with the kids until bedtime. I would get directly paid if I ever babysat, but mostly I just had free rent in exchange for being "around", because it's hard to be just one parent with three little kids. I remember my friends being similarly confused about what exactly my position was. Like was I their nanny? But I had another job? Was I dating the mom? No, we are just friends. But the rent is free? And I babysit every night? Oh, the kids are asleep, so wait, is that actually work? Why don't you pay rent, then? I usually just reffered to the whole family as "my roommates" to keep it simple 😂 my 4-year-old roommate...
