This relates to me in so many ways! Growing up my parents would argue, not in front of me but I knew something had gone on when coming home from school. I always promised myself that I would NEVER argue or cause any upset when I grow up and meet someone. When I started dating I'd see signs of controlling and possessiveness and I'd be gone. When I met my husband I told him I'm not a woman who argues, likes confrontation, does not do nasty. He said he isn't one for those things too. I thought I'd found the perfect man. Most times it's not even worth discussing lol. But in all the years we've been together we've never had a bad word to say to each other! Being angry and venting is the worst thing you can do. We've been together 27 years this coming September and believe me when I say I would never change a single day. I think that's wonderful how Will told jada, "if you want to talk to me, we will not be raising our voices, or having violent in the relationship and home ", if she didn't like it, Get out". Instead he decides to say that and wop her on the head with a newspaper like she's a dog. If he's demanding respect he should give respect. Obviously Jada was thinking along the same lines because she said did that fool just hit me with a newspaper. Unfortunately she lost her voice along the way. Not to mention this was done in front of people. I'm just saying for someone demanding respect you should understand what is respectful and disrespectful.
