The pocket master is such a great piece of gear. I keep it on my bedside table along with a wireless transmitter/receiver so I can get a few minutes of practice or songwriting before I go to sleep.

Will they update the original matribox? To run sound clone? If they do it on pocket master then it should work on the matribox 1

I've updated to the latest firmware and it gives you a clone option when you go into the amp settings

On the device I can't see any clone option. Do you mean in the phone app?

@@GreenHoleSun It's there in the actual device as well, when you select the amp characteristics there's an option to use a clone. I loaded a ton of clones to my phone and load them onto the device using the app. You can only store 5 clones on the device by the look of it.

@1000sofusernames thank you for the reply. My problem with the phone app is that it is not present in the official android market and I usually don't install anything outside of it (possible viruses and other security issues, you know...)

It was in the firmware update notes which I showed in the video. The other info is available on the Sound Clone site, which is not public still, but you have the screenshot at the video also!

A question (from the guy down the back): Can the Sonicake Pocket Master import amp profile captures from 3rd party providers, such as Amalgam Captures?

I sent them an email and suggested they add a stereo 3mm FX loop and create a USBMIDI interface to make it capable of controlling other plug ins. Then interanally they should add an I/O terminal block so that we can 3D print our own pedals and wire in our own foot switches.

Yeah dont make it work with a MIDI Controller. They need to actually make it the MIDI controller. Add an expandable I/O so we can wire in or plug in a foot switch.

I think if they reserve the DSP for FX and give that work to an external Plug In. This could be a supperior product to others thats cost far more money. All that thing has to be is a decent run of the mill wet FX units with MIDI capability to integrate any plug in into the FX loop with a volume pedal integration and they will have something huge. There is masive void in the market for such a device, this is very close with this device. They should hit the breaks get to work on this successor imediatly. Id pay twice the current cost if they could make these updates. This set up with a Tone X One with MIDI control would be incredible! Once us guys with 3D printers get ahold of a device like this we are going create some shit I promise!!

That's a good idea. I've used a Boss GT-1 in the loop for wet effects. You could even run a stereo breakout cable from the output back into the return.
