there arnt any thats what makes it really good. anything shy of 3 hand traps is going to be enough to stop them. that's why the best thing you can do is play board brakers like dark ruller no more and evenly matched or put up huge towers that are unaffected by card effects

@@fatality8914 Trust me, if there was anything worse than runick, it would be runick spright, spright will cover all the weaknesses pure runick had, it has very high chance of being even tier 0,you can basically play Joshua Schmidt's ycs winning runick spright list card to card in MD

Someone might have said this before but just a thought I had. The problem with yugioh majority of the time is who goes first and sets up. What if the players played during the same turn. For example whoever goes first draws for the turn, but the person who didn't draw gets the first action. (Summon, activate a card, set/etc) Traps and speed spells would still have to be set and wait a turn like normal. During the main phase a player takes their action, then the other player takes their action. Then switch over to battle phase and proceed with normal battle phase specific effects. During main phase 2 it be treated same as main phase 1 take turns doing actions. Then end phase is normal, next draw phase other player draws a card and the turn priority goes to the other player. The idea needs alot of work but I think it be an interesting way to play.

Lets be real, Runick Spright will be strongest Spright variant currently available in MD. So kicking it out what is the other Good Spright decks you can play in MD? Im sticking to Live Twin Spright decks and other than that i dont know any other aside from Frog Spright and Runick Spright.

This seems incredibly strong, but I suspect that the bo1 format could put a damper on things since it seems like you have to choose which tech you go for before knowing your opponent's deck. Put an iblee on the field of a mathmech player, and they will thank you for it. Summon mannequin cat against swordsoul? Hope you have a good water target!

Spright is like Tri-Brigade where its true power comes out as an engine rather than a standalone archetype. The frog shenanigans were the nastiest thing it could pull, but Nimbles can spit out a bunch of level 2s to make annoying spam boards as well. I'm honestly curious about using a small package specifically to search out Smashers for use in more Therions or Springans related ventures. Might make for a neat consistency tool in certain Pile decks, which will have another new consistency tool in the IoC + Magician's Souls package. Reminder you don't have to dump a DM card for Souls, Spyral is going to use Master Plan, Endymion, Dogmatika and Spellbooks have good dump targets to bring out with Selene or Spellbook of Life, and decks like Runick Synchro or Rank 8 Turbo on Chengying can dump Iris to give it one time Destruction protection.

You make Djinn with Capshell. Summon Capshell off Gigantic, make Elf with it, draw a card. Revive Capshell with Elf, make Djinn with it. Draw a card when you activate Djinn on your opp's turn. This deck is just nuts lol

Hugin is a level 2. Gigantic searches wind up kitten(pop), iperia or capshell (draws). You can move Hugin off the EMZ by overlaying her into gigantic.

Spright is essentially just another "Hand trap: the deck". By itself it's not much, but due to its consistency you will be able to run all kinds of handtraps and that alone will push it up on the tier list. It's similar to swordsoul, tribrigade, matchmech, prank kids, evil twin and sky strikers.

Definitely going to be scary but glad that they've taken some measures to make sure its not going to be unbeatable. We'll see if its going to be enough in due time but I definitely appreciate the explanation of what the deck does if only so I know how to beat it when I inevitably see it on the ladder. Spyral is already strong and IoC is a really nice boost. You can sack Runick with EEV going first. Both Spright and Stun Runick are gonna be hard to deal with going 2nd though.
