Not sure how the current licensing for Sony is right now but that could be a huge blocker for this to eve happen or at least happen now.

Sony just licensed the Spider Man IP, Microsoft can do the same, it doesn´t prevent them from doing it since Disney is very keen to giving out their licensed IP´s for studios capable of doing justice to their franchises.

A lot of Spider-Man games fell under Activision for some time. Including PS1 and PS2 titles along with the handhelds. So the movie games and Ultimate Spider-Man. Sony owns Spider-Man in many ways so I feel like any remaster would have to come with Playstation also being able to have the remasters. Not impossible, but very unlikely I think.

I think the activision spider-man games need a Tony Hawk’s 1 + 2 treatment. Even do Spider-Man 1-3 as trilogy in one game and add the Kraven chapter from Xbox version. Even Neversofts PS1 games can be combined two stories in one game.

Of course these old spiederman games coming in the gamepass because it’s old and from activision AND they came for the Xbox 360 that time It’s not the problem if it was at that time for Xbox 360! I’m even not sure if you can buy these right now and put these in the Xbox but I think these games coming to gamepass because the games came out a time where activision had that rights! These games not coming out new!!! For remastered or remakes than that’s the problem but why would they do it

It would be a big W if Microsoft managed to have these games on Game Pass. But with the additional polish and some improvements in the games themselves before they hit Game Pass for Xbox and PC.

One thing to note is remember years ago Insomniac made Sunset Overdrive on xbox exclusive. Apparently Xbox was offered the opportunity to publish Insomniacs Spiderman game but turned it down, Sont got it and the rest is history. If true this is a bit of context Xbox fans angry with spiderman being a playstation exclusive should consider. I have both consoles so I can play either but I truly believe a character like Spiderman who is supposed to be for everyone shouldn't be locked behind one console. I want xbox players to experience insomniacs spiderman games on xbox one day but it will never happen.

I'm literally saying it doesn't matter. It wouldn't be bigger, it would just be it's own thing. Not everything needs to be compared. It would be cool to have them on game pass, as I said for the physical prices to drop. Or the reason could be they're just cool games

Yes they NEED to. Spider-man games are currently stuck in the past, Xbox can bring them into the present for a whole new generation to play. PS are trash with backward compatibility so Xbox is the way to go.

That new Spiderman 2 was disappointing. Glad i didn't buy it or a PS5; they really messed that story up. The first one was so good though if a little repetitive.

@I....l....I no, they won't. Marvel games is working with Sony. They likely have a deal with them holding the spider game license. Why do you think spider man wasn't in the Avengers game Xbox version?also, I'm not spoiling anything, but spider man 2 post credits point at a 3rd game, which means insomniac isn't losing the license anytime soon.
