Exactly it's not like MSM 2's combat is repetitive, it's really amazing and brutal (especially the Symbiote Surge) but Wos have more variety in combat. Also, both have it's own flaws: MSM 2: Unnecessary shoehorning of Black Cat and Wraith, off-screen kills by Kraven to show his true strength, and I think they should have made 3rd act DLC instead (with also adding Carnage, other rogue galleries infected with Symbiotes, heroes whose games are coming by Insomniac like Wolverine coming to aid, and finally Venom as final boss). Otherwise, I love it. WoS: Spidey's voice acting could have been better, him shooting white webs from Symbiote suit doesn't make sense to me(plus him snatching tendrils doesn't look like he shoots them from his hands), Beta version of that suit was better with slight purple, limited screentime of Venom more than Insomniac's with no clear motivation at all.

@@godzillazfriction It does. It means that the map in WoS is small so it looks like Spider-Man is swinging faster. What's so hard to comprehend?

@@FunnyRedemption that still doesn't make any sense, considering both swinging speeds of either games are entirely different especially with how the web-swinging system is utilized through & through... also, the map of Manhattan (since WoS only has Manhattan) in WoS is definitely not small nor smaller than Insomniacs SM2... there's no proof of WoS' map being smaller based off what OP argued for as a blanket statement.

In most aspects it does, but wos combat, wall combat, wall running/crawling, and black suit powers is superior, specially the portrayal of the black suit powers. Traversal I would say is tied with each game doing different aspects better than the other, combining both traversal would make the perfect spiderman traversal system imo.
