How did u print the design and what paper did u use?? Did u print from a printer ??? Using a computer or laptop?

I printed from my laptop to my sublimation printer using sublimation paper and ink.

What if you use an Iron instead? Would you get the same results?

I don’t think so. An iron doesn’t get as hot and it doesn’t give even heat. You can definitely try it and see if it works though.

If it's on polyester it should be fine but if it's something else like cotton it will wash out little by little unless you spray cotton spray on the area before and after sublimating.✨

It depends how big your logo is. I honestly would say to invest in a heat press or easy press at least.

From what I heard, it has to be fabric that had 60% polyester or more

You can technically sublimate on silk, but it will be more of a faded look. It should be polyester. Polyester will give you a more vibrant look.

Yes, you can. You will just have to do more presses, so it will just take longer to press than if you used a heatpress.

Yeah. Sublimation doesn’t really work on cotton well. It needs to be polyester.

Thank you. I actually looked up does an easy press mini work with sublimation? I have the bottom part of a mug that won't work with the mug press because it's a different shape from the top part that will fit in the mug press. I was wondering if I could press the name on the bottom with the mini.

I’ve never tried it. It could possibly work for that small part. Let me know if you try it. I’m not sure if when they cost mugs for sublimation, if they actually coat that bottom part.

Are you asking if you can use regular printer paper for sublimation? Lots of people swear by the hammerhill brand of copy paper. It seems to work fine for them.

Nice tutorial! Would you be able to reuse the print since there’s ink left? Also what type of material was the t-shirt? Would this be possible o a cotton tshirt?

That is a good paper. No you cannot reuse it. If you try to reuse it, it will be super dull. You are better off printing on a new sheet. You cannot sub on cotton. It won't fuse to cotton as well as polyester. If you sub on cotton, it will be dull and fade over time.

I’ve been asked this a lot. I honestly don’t know. I think it would but you would have to do maybe two or three presses because of the size of the phone case.
