I have so much respect for Hamish Bond. He and Eric Murray went undefeated for something like 7 years. He then switched to the time trial in cycling, broke the New Zealand record on a course, won bronze in the Commonwealth games after about 18months of cycling. And the only reason he's in the 8 now is because New Zealand didn't submit Hamish for the time trial for some reason. As part of the 8 he then went on to beat the British in the Grand at Henley, and now he's looking to win a medal in Tokyo. Amazing.

A video that has aged very well. The NZ rowing has thrived on the Covid additional year. My assessment of the "ethos" is that they (NZ particularly) seem to enjoy the challenges that all elite sport offers. It does not seem to become an imposition to train to try for the chance to win Gold.

@@worldrowingofficial Where is the whole event shown live. NO live streaming in USA.

@@Hundert1 You might be confusing live and video on demand. Live means when the racing is actually taking place, and that we show on our website. As mentioned in our "how to follow" (www.worldrowing.com/news/how-follow-2019-world-rowing-championships-linz-ottensheim-austria) you can see that if you are in the USA that the LIVE is available on the Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA, OlympicChannel.com and the Olympic Channel app or via authentication on NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app. Just to clarify, the LIVE racing is shown every day, all around the world. Alternatively, if you are looking for the video on demand (VODs), then outside of New Zealand and the USA they can be found here - www.eurovisionsports.tv/fisa/ but if you are in the USA then you have to wait until 24 hours after the regatta day to watch those races on the link previously provided.
