On that first long run by Henry, that was a fantastic reach block by Stanley. Not sure his price tag is worth it in the off-season, but it’s hard for me to say that his replacement could make that block.

@@all_22_filmsCoach we gotta give credit to Orr for the turnaround we have did defensively. I just looked we finished top 10 at one point we were one of the worst defenses. I think offensively teams are going to pressure us and load up the box and play press man and make us beat. I would like to see us use more Likely and Andrews on the field. How big of a difference would it make if we did make a switch on the OL?

@jamaaljohnson9124 oh I don't think we switch the OLine. Unless. Vorhees looked that good. My main complaint is not building OLine depth in last year's Draft, particularly at Guard. Christian Mahagony. Someone like that. An actual Guard who can combo. Just an example. We are who we are at this point.

@@all_22_films Do you think we will resign Stanley? I feel good going into this week vs the Steelers. Harbaugh don't panic and stick to the Script offensively. Steelers are going to pressure and play man. I believe Likely and Bateman will have big games. I think attacking the Steelers defensively on first down will be critical. The Steelers love to take shots on first down. When they get behind the chains that offense struggles.

We’re so lucky we have Patrick Richard and likely to pick up blocks. Not so sure it will be sustainable in the postseason with the possibly injury-hindered-Zay Flowers. I’m still optimistic because the bills and chiefs also have some holes.

Cole Jackson pointed out that the second half they went to a zone run scheme after doing mostly power in the first half, and that was a big reason why there was such a huge difference. Curious what your thoughts are on that.

Some how, Faalele is a probowl alternate. I don’t know the grading scale or what it is but that blew my mind because in my eyes he’s so much better than when he started this year but is in no way the 7th or 8th best guard in the AFC. I’m happy for him and I’m glad he playing better because we stuck with him and even if I don’t like the decision I’m still a team guy and will cheer and push for whoever is playing to be the best they can.

Side note: I think we hit big on Vorhees. I believe he’s going to be a steal for us going forward. His injury dropped him from mid second/top 3rd to the 7th round so we barely have to pay him, he has the tangibles. To think we may of hit on 2 oline man in one draft is wild

Coach your preaching to the choir. What teams have we lost to? Those with great d lines. To beat KC & Philly… shoot even Shitzberg O line needs to reach a new level here. Lov what coaching staff is doing with what they have. However defenses are going to adjust. Ps… if i see one more TE sneak in 4th & short I’m going to get sick.

Great question and analysis as usual. I don't like this first play at all. It's far too easy for an elite or just quick DE to read and destroy. This play is one of those I wish Monken would delete from the playbook. On the 4th and Goal Monken gave it away with TYLAN WALLACE as the lone WR because NOBODY CARES ABOUT TYLAN WALLACE AT THE GOAL LINE. Thus no one paid ANY attention to his side of the field. Lamar ultimately eff'd up the pass but WHY would Monken basically give away the play with his personnel and formation choice? When was the last time Lamar threw ANYTHING to Tylan in the red zone??? At least put Bateman and Andrews on that side of field to draw SOME attention away. Shyt like this is when Monken really annoys and frustrates me. This is BASIC stuff. I don't know anywhere near as much football as he does but I can dissect his plays by strength and weakness of formation and personnel. I NEVER see the Bengals, for example, give away a play just by their personnel choices. Andy Reid is UNREADABLE by his personnel and formation choices. How does Monken continually make these mistakes? Overall, I'm not as concerned about the OL as I am about Monken's personnel choices, and lack thereof, without Zay Flowers. Without Zay (I'm just assuming he'll be out) who do we really have that's a WR threat other than Bateman? Is Agholor going to play? Even if he does he's not a threat. If Justice Hill is back a lot of demands on 22 will ease, making both 43 and 22 much more effective. Monken hasn't used Tez Walker and Anthony Miller anywhere nearly enough, even in isolated situations, to build a comfort level for them so they're virtual non-factors. Contrast this with Andy Reid who threw rookie Xavier Worthy to the wolves in the first game of the season, Monday Night against the Ravens. Now, 17 games later, he's ready to handle almost anything a situation requires. There's no reason Tez Walker couldn't have been used similarly instead of wasting his time on special teams learning nothing. He's precisely the type of WR Baltimore has never had and always needed- Tall, fast(4.3) and strong with hands. If he was able to run by Nate Wiggins in college why isn't he on a similar playing trajectory as Wiggins? CB mistakes are much more costly to a team than a missed downfield block or dropped pass. But Harbaugh and Monken have him playing kickoff coverage, as if he's effin Proche or Boykin. Unreal.

I think the O line is playing lots better now then in September/October. I'm a very old school guy so all these big giant bodies today half of them couldn't do a good whipkick, crabblock,or good old cut and roll block like back in the old days. The position is more summo wrestling now then football. But I do think they can handle any team in the league with todays zone summo legal holding lol. Go Ravens.

Watching belichick he spoke how they changed the rules back to not being able to request coaching review until after the playoffs. A lot of teams were upset after last season when multiple coaches were already given head coaching jobs while still involved in the playoffs. They felt it’s almost impossible to do your job effectively when you’re interviewing for a possible life changing position. Which I agree with, it’s unfair to the team

I don’t think you were a downer. This team has some real worries when it comes to their ups and downs emotionally. This game felt as if they knew they were going to win so guys weren’t as focused on as they needed to be and were not good enough to play that way. The offense looked bad at times. Now I will say every time we play a solid D-line we’ve had some trouble but have manage to overcome it for the most part. But this game is just a reminder of what I’ve watched all season. A good D-line can really stall out our offense due to our own penalties, our own greed of trying to push the ball hard on 1st/2nd down, and just lack of strength up front to get a push at times. We have the scheme and skill talent to overcome it and compete with any team but it takes everyone being focused and fighting for that 1/2yard. Like that’s our margin. As great as the defense is playing, we have to expect teams to put up points

I agree coach the o line was getting beat up in the 1st half. But I’m more confident in them going up the more physical d lines. It’s only a couple of teams with them in the playoffs: Pitt, KC and Philly imo. And I was real critical of Vorhees but the man looked like he has gotten faster and stronger from earlier in the year. More Vorhees might unlock this offense even more because Mekari is not strong and gets bullied at LG.

I'm not so easy about the Ravens playing the Steelers so early in the playoffs especially with the Steelers losing so many games in a row. The Steelers are one of those teams who have uncanny things happen in their favor. Many weird injuries happen to the teams they play as well as other strange things.

Legit film breakdown. I for one was thoroughly disappointed in the team execution in the 1st half. Oline has been sus all year against Good Dlines. And great point about Dan Orlosky stating that the Ravens Oline was "Dominant". He either was pushing the Josh Allen MVP agenda or is just a trash nfl analyst & he doesnt strike me as stupid.
