The way your son explained cutting his rc body because of the way he fabricated the shocks sounded exactly like his dad and then your son asked if you liked his rc but he didn’t forget to tell his father his fender looked good as well. That has to be a proud dad moment. I love the way you included and interact with your kids

@block4565

He and the rest of the children are clearly afraid of Paul. They respect out of fear. Especially Landon... just desperately trying get approval. Paul gave a quick, 2 second approval and then just went right into focusing on his project, his issues, his success.. You can see it in 90% of the videos. It's still that old school, broken mentality of using anger and intimidation to parent your children that Paul (and many others including myself) were raised by.. It breaks more people than it helps and that's why we've seen the shift the last few years. That old, military style parenting is for the birds. You can even see the huge insecurities in Paul...constantly complimenting himself, gloating, needing to be in charge or in control... all a result of trying to convince himself he's "a good, capable person" and it's never enough because his dad didn't know how to communicate. I was raised by the same and I'm the same age as Paul, so it's very obvious to me. I think we still have so many unaware people that reproduced and now they think they're doing good by raising that offspring the same way they were raised. Broken and insecure. Thankfully the younger generation is done putting up with the bullshit and they've started to speak up/ revolt.. I just hope guys like Landon can heal before they commit to a crazy life of fear and anger as their guides. That's how you end up a sheep who votes for a global laughingstock like trump. Or think you need to run out and buy up all the guns you can because we have to kill to survive... its a ridiculous and weak mentality that is thankfully crumbling

So, you said it in this video: Rat Rod. used to be that wasn’t that complimentary except for a very few builders 30 years ago. But now, it is a theme. You asked what color, I say a lot of clear coat!!!!!!!!!! Because of KZbin, you are already known. Why give this incredible look up!!! I think it is very distinctive “Fab Rats FJ Yoda” just as it is. Yes, the sliders/fenders might need black, some undercoating in a few spots, etc, but the outside for the most part, it is you!!

Hi Paul, I hope next time you visit Matt's shop please convince him to wear safety glasses when grinding etc... He is terrible at it. And on the wheel wells, I think you should radius or round the edges. Especially if you are going to have kids bouncing around in the back. I'm not really sure how to do it, so I would enjoy watching you do it first! Thanks for the videos. That Decked demo, kind of creeped me out actually. Is there a release latch on the inside? Remember how many kids have died in the trunks of cars, so now they have latch release inside of trunks. Just another worry-wart, but a little planning and prevention goes a long way in warding off the bad-juju.

I have to get more coffee in me while watching your videos. I keep looking at that green toolbox next to the FJ and thinking that would be a cool, and different paint color for it .

I laughed pretty good about the comment of the fenders looking fine as long as you only look at one side at a time. I had that same conversation with my buddy when we were putting running boards on my truck.

Paul, thanks for the serenade Clementine would have been proud had her horse not kicked her into the pond. Question, did you figure out the misfire issue on the Yota? Oh , it is a joy to watch how you interact with all you kids. Allowing them to make their own decisions and helping when needed. Hey Michelle, was there a spider in your drawer you seemed to be wantin out of there at the end. Thanks again for the great videos I look forward to them all.

Paul,Michelle: don’t take this wrong… (I am older than you) but you remind me of my grandpa! He could fabricate ANYTHING he even designed the belly turret on bombers in WW2 all with an 8th grade education. He was fun to be around and he made us boys learn by doing! And he was full of one liners as well, also happened to be married to a great gal that would always bring him lunch over to the shop and was always fun to be around just like our awesome Michelle! So this channel is so fun and interesting to watch! Thank you guys for opening your world up and laying parts of it out for the world to see. ( can’t be easy) but we love it! So yes you guys remind of my grandparents but that’s a good thing best to you and your family! I’ll be rocking the fab rats gear for sure

When I was a young man, an old man told me to protect my knees every change I got. I did. Now I'm an older man with good knees. Get yourself some good knee pads. You won't regret it. KInda funny. Lite Brite Nation (now at 205K subscribers) inspired Matt. Matt (now at 992K Subscribers) inspired you. And your at a good rate at 350K subscribers. Did you ever think that many people would be interested in the stuff you do. Yet, here we are, loving it and watching every video you make. Keep up the good work.
