We are onboard Royal Caribbean Odyssey of the Seas on a 7 night Caribbean Cruise. We just got off of Navigator of the Seas. 653 passengers on a 4000 passenger ship! We had a great time tho the energy from a full audience is definitely missed. All protocols followed by everyone. Can't wait to cruise in May!

My biggest shock from this video is the price of the waterpark - I can't believe it's so expensive. I always naively thought it was free...!

They need money to maintain it and pay the crew. I've seen the price from $38 up to & 119. It all depends on how many are there in port and how many are booked. It changes.

Yes it all depends on how full the park is and how their numbers are running with one ship or two in Port. It can really very a lot! You can purchase it and if the price goes down call the cruise planner department and they will refund the difference. That's with any Excursion you purchase so it's always good to plan ahead and then watch prices.

WOW! We honeymooned on Freedom of the Seas in 2015. NOTHING was on Coco Cay. Had to ferry over. Just a beach, some makeshift bars (only one drink available and only to drink package holders) and a lunch pavilion that was free to everyone- cook out type food, hamburgers, hot dogs, and Caribbean specialties. It was super nice, super simple, and we didn't have to worry about paying for anything. I thought the slides and everything looked cool until you said $100 a person lol!

Been 5 times on coco cay. first one 1999 unspoiled it was. See all the changes. We really like it, but....cruising becomes like floating theme parks , even the private islands. As you mentiod....100 dollars for you to get in a waterpark or rent a cabana. Insane.

While I agree and understand your concerns about seating close to others in the dining room, it may be because of staff shortages. While there are less passengers, there also maybe less staff and to expect them to run longer distances between tables might be a stretch. We noticed on our last cruise that servers were asked to do "double duty" with wait stations as fellow crew members tested positive and new crew members were being quarantined before actively working. We still got very good service, but we could also see the stress ( forgotten cream, coffee refills, etc.). Just an opinion. Love your videos.

During the Christmas holidays, they had most of their items 50% off. It might’ve been a black Friday type of deal. But I’ve also seen it go 25% to 35% off before the cruise.

On your next visit to Coco Cay I strongly recommend that you do the Coco Beach club especially if you have the drink package. The food is outstanding and it's an idyllic atmosphere.

Loving your Vlogs Ben & David sooo fun to watch, though we are so jealous watching them from here in Brisbane, Australia. We can only watch on at the moment in antisipation to when we can leave our shores to cruise or even holiday again. In 2015 we were on "Quantum of the Seas" out of New York on an 11 night cruise to the Carrabean we had the best time ever as a family, now our two boys are adult men & waiting to see the world for themselves, how time has flown & the disruption this Pandemic has caused to all of us. We cannot wait to return to Royal Caribbean on any ship really though I prefer Quantum class as I find Oasis class ships way to big just my choice, though my wife wants to try the now new current biggest ship in the world & fleet the brand new "Wonder of the Seas" but for now, for us, just to get back to cruising again is a dream we can hopefully soon look forward to again. Caribbean again definately & on "Odyssey of the Seas" hopefully, beautiful ship & Coco Cay looks very nice also.
