That carburetor on that 283 looks like a old Kotter like to use on the old Pontiacs 389 old carburetors I think they use on the old Cadillacs too

Mr. Seger, I think you mean CARTER, Sir. I hope this helps. I actually think this particular carb is a Rochester 4G either V or C. I have no doubt that Jerry knows for sure. It runs so good! The transmission makes some fun noises, so I'm sure you'll see it again someday. It's loaded up for its very first car show tomorrow. Washed and waxed and ready to go! 😁👍

My dad had a truck very similar to that one. Same color too. But that was 50 years ago. I wish I could have kept a bunch of the cars he had. Keep up the good work.👍🇨🇦

That motor sounds good I had the same motor 283 I had the signature valve covers as well -61 man it’s a good running motor

These are my favorite valve covers, and the motor runs so well I may have to take them off and paint them! 😁

I do have the signature of Chevy valve covers on my 283 there were some cash keep them my good question where are you kind folks Garage located? Right now I’m located in London Kentucky I would like to know I love old cars a good impression is I want to say I’m very close to your father‘s age he has a lot of knowledge and you’ll learn from the right fellow good for you kid that right there is a 💝 gift I love working on cars that’s what I feel comfortable with the new stuff I call it I do it one step at a time because it doesn’t interest me that much but there’s things I like to learn that is so awesome keep up the good work again I would like to know where the garage is located there may be some things I know how to do as well let me know Anthony Sigur from Kentucky
