Today at Ugly Truck, Emily is back on the 1965 Chevy C10. It's been 2 years since we top coated this patina with Zep High Traffic Floor Polish, and it's held up great, but it's time for another coat. After a good scrub, we can simply wipe on another coat and give it some more shine, and a few more years of protection from the elements. The finish dries quickly with no greasy, oily film like other wipe on recipes. With this method, there's no mixing products. Just scrub it down with SOS Pads until you have the look you're going for, then grab an old sock and start wiping on some ZEP High Traffic Floor Polish. For a $25 total investment, this is a great way to seal and protect the look of any rat rod on any budget.
