Nyph I’m not denying man-made climate change. I think we can prevent or at least slow it and we should. I think all the evidence is quite clear on that. However, I don’t think humans can destroy the planet. I think that if we continue as we are we will cause another mass extinction event, but that some life will survive. Some creatures will handle the warmer planet and creatures will evolve to thrive in it. Even if we detonated every nuclear weapon and scorched the earth I think some bacteria at least would survive and after millions of life would return.

I myself am 15 years old and me too have been worried about the environment for about as long as I can remember. So much negativity, suffer and destruction in this world. It can even make you kinda depressed at times. So it's time that people like you and me start doing things even though it might seem like it doesn't matter what you do. But you too can have an influence. It's true that getting vegan will help a lot. However if you really want to make a big difference, I can't help you with that. I don't know what your passion is or what you are capable of. But I think every person can make a difference in his own unique way. It requires a lot of thinking. And I myself haven't exactly figured out what I can do, however as we grow up there will be more possibilities. One thing that I can think of that everyone can do, is to love. The American dietetics association ( the largest organisation of qualified nutritionists) has released a study that a vegan diet is perfectly adequate for all stages of life. The World health organisation has is certain that eating meat is just as cariogenic as cigarettes!! They are both type 1. Look I'm not trying to make anyone feel bad about eating meat. I used to be a massive meat eater around a year ago but I realise that's his just not sustainable or ethical. Please watch "Cowspiracy" ( a documentary that's been aired to Congress) and watch Earthlings. If you want to know about health watch "what the health". I am so glad you are one to stand up, one to fight against the wrong and show facts that others dont want to notice. I am so happy that not everyone is ignoring this fact, it give me much hope. There are many ways we can stop climate change and it just seems people deny to claim this fact. I am glad people are speaking and if we all work togetger we can save ourselves and many more. Most people these days are caught up in pointless things of todays modern societ. What i cant believe is for fair at my school their auctioning off animals to make money( which breaks my heart so) but my teacher said and i quote "their living creatures, you have to treat them with respect" yet this orginization which says it strives to help the world is caging animals. Like their insiginificent beings, raising them and killing them. This is what caught me off gaurd we are told what things are good, true, and evil but what i think is we cant just tell everyone false facts if we do not know ourselves. This is in highschool by the way. Im not hating facts on people it just hurts me that we think of ourselves as the most intelligent beings. When the fact is we are all eqaul, see no one stops and thinks, that we are all living organisms no matter what the race we are all beings, " creatures" but i know its not the fault of the ones who have lost their way of life, so even if i am in highschool i will fight to help, i will show people that, we all can live in peace and tranquility and we all are eqaul. I hope my message can reach to people and maby more to come. Peace and much virture.
