Finally some love for the dang Birdie/Thumbtrack! I've been bagging a Birdie since I started in 2000 (still have that disc on the wall). I've been waiting 20+ years for the disc world to realize the benefit of 1 speeds! But the high glide of Glitch etc doesn't make sense to me (give me a 1/1/0/0 in like a 180g to plop close to the basket). And yes the "pre-Thumbtrack" Birdies were basically a Polecat. And yes, I would love to win that max weight Metal flake, but no I don't have Insta. : )

Monarch was my friend's favorite disc for his first year of disc golf, I'll snag him a new Halo one for the memories :)

I always keep my good old Dx Birdie in my bag. Doesnt catch the wind like my Glitch, goes straighter then the Berg and just gets to the ground flat. Perfect for windy situation and slopy greens.

Love my Cloud Stone. So floaty, even more than my Glitch. Flight is way more predictable, especially with torque.

The DX Rhyno I have is almost boardflat on the top with a track around, I would think its similar to these Glyphs. But discs with puddles and thumbtracks acts weird in different plastics, the Berg for example have lost its little tiny dome in the middle of the puddle in most runs (the first pic with the black one on PDGA's approved page got a good bit of dome), still haven't seen one with it it the wild. The Pig in Blizzard comes out domey from what I saw on Robbie C's video, lots of the R-Pro Pigs are domey even from what I've seen, but they can be flattened easily ;)

Looks like a Birdie. Maybe a Gopher part in there. I think the Birdie has had a thumb track and no thumb track both during its life.

Love me some catch discs. I bagged a Polecat, Glitch and Watt at one time earlier this year. I played a lot of Polecat only rounds this year when my backhand form was crap. I don't own any Infinite molds, that will definitely be my first. Hopefully they will come in a sweet Bodanza stamp.

It was me. I said it was the Birdie. 😂 Thanks for reading my comment. Interesting fact, the Birdie mold was basically just the Polecat for the first year of production and had a flat top. The next year, Innova retooled it with a thumbtrack and then later the similar Polecat came out. The one I grew up with is green, has Tweety bird on it, and is from the first year. My sister insists on still putting with it 😬. Not great to abuse a 30 year old disc. 😂 I should get her a halo PoleKat while they're available. 🤔
