Have you considered hydro seeding for the areas you didn't get sod covered?

I’m not super familiar with hydro seeding. It seems like in our area people usually do sod or sprigs

​@@garagestoryFor diy guys it's an attachment that goes on your hose that mixes the water with grass seed and some form of carrier material that you spray on spots/areas you want covered. It leaves the dirt covered with a green layer that protects the seed as it grows and stops erosion. No clue where you live but here in Ontario it's often used commercially along the sides of highways and other places sod or just plain grass seed isn't a viable option.
