They should do it the way rocket league does it. If you leave a multiplayer game, you are banned for 5 minutes. And each time you do it the ban should get longer.

Naw, cause what if they have to go because of work or school or an appointment? I hate that i get banned in RL for hopping out of a casual match. Its kind of goofy tbh.

@@markusbradley7730Short term ban of 5 minutes wouldn’t affect you if you had to go to work, school or an appointment. It just stops people from starting matches, quitting if they don’t like the start and beginning another match immediately.

​@@markusbradley7730 I get your point, but this is not casual Risk. It's ranked. Risk could totally add casual mode for people who can't always commit to games.

@@MikeF031 There is a casual mode already however the ranking system in general is flawed with how you earn/lose ranked points Add a fragile playerbase who arn't up to the task of taking on the Peteman and your players boil down to two categories of dedicated competetive gamers (tourney/ranked leaderboard climbers) and casuals trying/learning the game who get obliterated without having a proper understanding of the game.

In many of my zombies games, it’s not question of if someone quits, but by what turn do they quit? Rarely do I get players sticking it out until the end, unless the lobby is good. (50/50 that I get a high quality lobby) Kinda disappointing that players choose to quit instead of sticking it out, but I understand :/

You know what I hate more? The 3 player games that a player bots out and then comes back and takes the dub. AKA the bot out strat. If you disconnect late game for more than 1 turn there should be no possible way you can return to the game and if you do then you should receive a 5turn no move penalty.

I've come back from 9 troops about 30 rounds in, to win it in about round 200. Obviously im estimating since the game doesnt count the rounds for you. I play on mobile and have for about 6 months. Never played this game before downloading the app. Took me a solid month f2p to figure out strats on classic without youtube 😅 I have now purchased the game ❤😂

Add a Karma system that looks at your last 20 games. Your Karma is what % of those games you play for the entire duration. Add a Karma filter so can filter out persistent quitters.

I agree with you! There definitely is a difference between quitting within the first turns (usually a 'bitch quit') i.e. after losing your capital And quitting after 30/60/90min, bc you ran out of free time. Two things to consider tho (and that goes for every risk player out there!): 1. Am I playing the right settings? Settings dictate the game length! If I want short games, I need to have settings for short games! 2. How can I quit in a way that respects the time of my fellow players? In a 1v1 take the time to step of capital, maybe consider suiciding into that one a-hole in the lobby; will the bot fuck up my ally once I quit? Can I prevent that? Ofc you can't always wait till your turn, but a lot of times 2 extra minutes on your side can greatly impact the next 10-40min of the lobby!
