Major factor is the 900+ HE damage paired with a clip. This alone can kill lightly armoured vehicles if caught off guard.

My brother in Christ, you're not gonna catch a Heavy Tank off guard with those camo values. A light tank and light mediums are gonna fight and kite, brawl mediums like the E50M and M48 Patton will simply bait (out the clip) then ram and brawl the thing with their DPM.

Its THE top priority tank right now. And likely will be for a while. Iv already come across a few, and never even had a chance to bleed one yet. They are dead before i can even get to them. I dont often play mediums, but if i did, yes, i would likely yolo if i knew i could. Especially in a carro and i know i could get the damage out.

it's only overpowered at the moment so it looks good and people spend big amounts of money on it. it will eventually get nerfed and balanced out to be just a mediocre tank like every other tank in the game

Can't agree with you on this one droods, we need a tech tree equivalent. And no, the mino and fv don't count. If you dump your last shell in the mino you're not doing any more damage most of the time. As for the fv 1700 in 7 secs >>>> 1640 in 7.5, and also you need to hit an extra shell in the fv. Even getting hit once by the waffen stings, the same cannot be said for either of the tech tree autoloading/reloading tank destroyers. If anything the waffen just makes it so that there is no reason to use a 4005 anymore.

When I play my 183, as soon as I am spotted, it's time to move. Every time I have played the Waffen, when it's time to move, it's bad camo and a chassis that moves at the speed of smell, your game is over. You are nuked before you realize you are spotted. So, if you are a trust fund kid or have Dad's Visa card, go for it.

This tank will be best used to hold key positions. No one wants to poke with one of these in the back. No trade is worth it. The REAL tragedy of the tank, is the flank. If you loose 1 side of the map, your basically done. You have no real choice but to push further in, or hold position and try to defend the flank. 90% of the time, alone. Because lets be real. Your team will push, until they circle the entire map, all slow tanks and TD get picked off, and then the 1-3 tanks help like they are going to win vs 7. Hold key positions. Hold flank. That would be the only reason i would play this. If i was on a flank loosing streak.

I got it for like $60, super lucky and I like it. I think it’s balanced… sure it’s got that 1700 clip potential, but it’s got so many drawbacks. It’s a fun tank, but not overpowered. If you don’t wanna spend a fortune just play a 4005, sure you don’t get the 870 HE, but is so much more flexible.

The only thing I think needs to be nerfed on it is the HE damage on the 15 cm, to a similar level to the Foch 155 autoloader, because 2400 damage in a clip in 6 seconds is stupid

That tank is way more OP than the Fv4005. edit: what i mean is. yesterday when i was playing in my fv4202 i got full clipped by the Waffen trigger Auf e100. and even if it only hit one shot. it still rolled 600 damage. more than the 4005 if it only hit one shell.

Actually the 4005 is better in every way just with clipping potential difference is like 60 dmg more on waffen, but the fv4005 is better its got super speed boost with batter camo values also can reduce HE dmg, so i think this tank is wallet eater and kinda useless, but in some senarios its good but there is one thing i love is the HE dmg but unfortunately u should sacrifice your HP for it.

I got the tank using $30 and the entirety of my luck for 2025 and I think the tank is incredibly fun, but it isn’t a good tank. I am averaging 4k dmg and 70% WR (I only play this tank in platoons with my clan).
