Final update: this little reel is the little engine that could kzbin.infoUgkxSlytCJqozTF7EbdP4LWP-HUXf9WRDJ0e . It performed flawlessly and was easy to adjust drag in the moment while I was battling a 35lb bat ray behemoth. Mind you, this reel is spooled with only 25 lb braid and 25 mono topshot. It's paired with the kastking telescopic heavy power rod and the two work well together. This has now earned my respect and confidence when traveling and fishing. If you have ever hooked into large rays and sharks, you know they pull extremely hard and can run forever! This thing clamped down on the fish and was easy to adjust during the fight. It has a nice decently fast retrieve as well. Twice the fish went on mad runs and I was able to gain back line quickly to avoid spooling.

Noah's tips are fire. Because of his hints and tips ive caught a lot more bass. I use to catch 2 or 3 a day in a 3 hour span. Since watching his videos ive been catching around 6 to 10 a day. Noah on thing i ask brother. If you haven't done one yet please do a video on how to skip your bait under cover and docks.

He grabbed the line between the reel and the first eye. Then he let the pole slide down the line and hit the snagged lure. Sometimes, hitting it backwards will knock it loose. Then he grabbed the rod.

I’ve seen a few people talking about their Lew’s combos. And from my own personal experience I’ll say, yes you’re going to backlash until you get it dialed in for EACH lure. And dialing them in has been much different for me on my Lew’s Mach 1 combo than any other brand combo that I own. BUT, once it’s finally dialed it’s become my absolute favorite! They really are a great company 🤙🏼
