The country is so effin divided that I’m going to say no. I believe Georgia is the only wildcard state at this point. You know exactly where each of the other states stand when it comes down to a choice election. Whether there’s inflation and/or indictments, when voters are given a choice between Biden and Trump, I think we’ll see the 2020 results repeated.

Wisconsin and Arizona are wild cards. Georgia is Solid Blue. I could see Wisconsin and Arizona going Red one more time. Arizona will eventually turn solid Blue. But not yet.. to many Republicans had to switch sides to push Biden over the top. But Georgia news won with Democrats. It's becoming a Blue state. The two Senators who won 2 months after the election won by larger margins than Biden. But if Arizona and Wisconsin go RED Biden still wins. And the rest of the states are locked as you said.

If I were a prosecutor, and this case fell into my lap, I would totally persue it, even just as a misdemener. It looks like a slam dunk to me if it's just as a misdemeanor, and it would be a really easy example to use to show you're gonna take on powerful people if you say wanted to run for state AG later on down the line.

@tompatterson1548 It is more complicated than you realize because you need to connect all these things and show proof. Prosecutors would need to prove that Trump gave his lawyer money specifically to pay off Stormy Daniels and also convince the judge or jury that this was political and a campaign contribution rather than something that he normally does. It appears the prosecutors dont have any proof that Trump told his lawyer to pay off Stormy Daniels. On the other hand, a problem for Trump is that he would most likely get a jury of almost all left wing or Democrat voters, similar to what happened to capital hill riot suspects. People want to believe courts aren't partisan, but that's just ridiculous. This is just a repeat of the 4 years of the Trump-Russia collusion stuff that was all fake and dreamed up.

@@zarthemad8386 except the hush money was paid, and the reïmbursement payment was falsely recorded as legal fees. It doesn’t matter if Stormy Daniels was lyïng, what matters is that Trump lied about what the money was used for in his official business records.

To clarify, a New York Grand Jury requires 12 votes that agree that a reasonable person could conclude the suspect is guilty. That's 12 of typically 23 people. For a special grand jury like this, they need to make sure that people only vote if they have attended every hearing at which evidence was presented that is necessary to meet the prima facie case. It is not a huge bar, but it isn't nothing.
