This is the part of weight loss I find so fun!!! Even almost fitting into a smaller size is such a confidence booster! And, ya, the plus size section seldom has any items to get excited about. I'd love to see the purple/lavender version of that top on you too :) I love purple on a ginger! It really pops!

it is nice to be able to fit more things and embrace my style but at the same time i hate certain brands not being inclusive enough to carry higher sizes to begin with. even now, its hard for me to find brands that actually carry plus sizes in store locally. it sucks fr. walmart is one of the very few.

Lately yes! Used to be they ran big but now it's small. I think they switched to juniors sizing, like most "inclusive" brands. A juniors 4x is closer to a womens 1x. When I was a teen in the early 2000s, juniors was always odd number sizing like 3, 5, 7 etc.. but now you only see even numbers and you really can't tell until you try it on. I feel like torrid is the last company not doing this. Even Lane Bryant has failed me lol I still have old clothes from LB in a 24 that still fit perfectly, so tell me why the last time I went in person even their largest size was a weird fit on me. I mean it fit, but didn't feel comfortable.

in high school you could see a bit of my back roll in one of my homecoming dresses. i wasn’t ever super overweight, just my back rolls was where it would show if i was a little overweight. it was actually kind of a turning point for me because i realized it was MY body, and if i was happy in it then that was that. no one else could decide how i felt about myself.

I can fit the XXL in juniors shirts and sweater but never the pants lol. 😆 my daughter is 12 and is just now wearing a junior small but can still fit a kids 14-16 in some stuff. She’s at a hard age and size trying to find jeans and shorts that aren’t super big , to tight , or to short for her age in the juniors section.😢 I found that JC penny has a better juniors section that’s fits her better ❤❤❤

Not try in to diss anyone but man it feels good to be losing weight the hard way like you when we live in ozempics world! I’m doing the same and I highly recommend people do it, the slower you lose weight the less chance of skin and more chance you’ll have muscle filling you out. My dietician recommended to lose 5% of body weight every 3 months to avoid bad side effects from losing weight rapidly. It can even cause gall stones to lose weight too fast! Also love that ozempic helps people who struggle to lose weight, but hate seeing people do any kind of quick fix to lose weight when they don’t need to!

The sizing in some of these walmart clothes are HELLA inconsistent. Their xxl is not an xxl more like a large or medium, which is crazy. It's frustrating for me as someone who's plus size and in between sizes .-. Their active wear has been pretty consistent in sizing tho but that's about it. 🤷🏾‍♀️
