IF they meet any members of VM, Keyleth, Percy and Vex being the most likely, they will be NPCs. Matt has already said so. the only time there was a single cast member playing 2 characters was when Scanlan and Taryon briefly met

Sorry for not commenting last week, I didn't have much to add. I don't know if they will meet Scanlan and Pike being that they are married so meeting one would probably lead to meeting the other, but Kaylie is a huge possibility considering the Marquesan Black Market angle with the brumestone. Grog is probably dead by this point and I say that because he said himself that he wanted to die without being a burden, I'll have to check the last episode of campaign 1 again.... Unless, that's why Travis is playing old characters because he's method acting himself to do old Grog (considering it's a compound accent) but that's a wild speculation. It's clear that the party will have to encounter Keyleth, but thinking about it now; Scanlan is Vox Machinas lore master so she might send them his direction for information. I think meeting the Royal Family of Whitestone is inevitable being that they will need the Delilah info, also ending on a sadder note. Vox Machina starts in 810 p.d. and campaign 3 is in 843 p.d. 33 years have passed, the average lifespan for bears is between 1-30 depending on the type of bear. Trinket is most likely passed away and there are Trinket babies guarding de Rolo/Vessar babies and all over Whitestone keep/kingdom. Most likely it's a reoccurring minor issue every day in the kingdom.

I'm so hoping to see not Vox Machina but their vestiges. Laura with Percy's Cabals Ruin, Robbie with Scanlan's Mythcarver, Liam with Keyleth's Spire of Conflux. I think inheriting some of them while introducing a few new ones would be a great way to promote their new book as well.

My big prediction is that the people who attacked the twins and keyleth are the remnants of the cult of Vecna. My biggest point is that in the new book they show up as a faction of you can interact with and Matt has known to put things in the books that he initially plans on using for the campaign (like evil Essek in EGtW). Then attacking Keyleth to test out their ability makes sense as Keyleth was the one directly responsible for sealing Vecna. Attacking the twins might be harder to pin down but remember that they were with people who specialized in studying the planes. Perhaps the cult wanted knowledge on a way to open a connection with Vecna’s demiplane or even possibly a means to release him.

if Briarwood is about the Vex and Percy will be on guard. They have kids they will protect. Also those kids could also be a part of it more so.

Not going to lie...lying for a "wow" effect is something that happens everywhere in every media. It's up to people and in this case KZbinrs to stay behind it and this doesn't mean that they should stop. Because if a character can lie about everything about themselves, they can even lie about their class.

We will definitely see Ira again now knowing his connection to the Calloway family. I'm also expecting to see Opal and possibly even Vex because of the reoccurring twin motif. I also felt a weird lycanish hint from Orym training nude and having moons tattooed on his body. I imagine Orym can completely control his change from all his self control and the upcoming lunar positions trigger his uncontrollable change. It could also simply be his air druidic desire to feel the air around him. How cool would it be to see him air bending as a homebrewed fighter subclass or feat?
