Though... If you get really, and I mean REALLY, into Lemon Demon like I have. He has some profound shit. Like, genuinely wonderful messages on dark topics. I think his short story "Then What" is a fascinating and dark audio-based story about death and how we as people hide from it and hide it from others. "Go To Hollywood" is an early example of his disdain towards the idea of being a celebrity. How hollow it looks and the knowledge the fame will inevitably run dry. You can also see this in "Being A Rock Star" "Smell Like A Cookie All Day" is about making active efforts to improve your everyday life in the face of darkness and disparity. And all in the same breath he's writing songs like "Mr. Porta-Potty Man" "Princess Unicorn Bunny Kitten Angel" "Sexy DVD" or "The Oldest Man On My-Space". They are not bad songs, but the seriousness and tonal difference can be genuinely startling at times. (Sorry about rambling. I just realized how passionate I am about this topic ) 😅
