I think that the quarantine line is more of a metaphor for like “I am sick with some kind of ‘weirdness’ so do I entertain that thought and is that me being brave and exploring myself or is it just an escapist thing” or something along those lines as opposed to actually being about quarantine. I assumed the quarantine line from this song was ironic since it would have had to have been written before 2020 and stuff since it was on the album, but I didn't know he'd had it for so long! It really makes that line extra surreal now.
