Way back in 2002 ,I drove from chennai to Thirisoor ,starting at 6.00AM n reached at 7.00pm with halts at villupuram 1hr for break fast 8.30am and 1hr at Bavani for lunch at 1.00pm. My wife was alongside n kept conversation of mutual interest. The car I drove was NE 118(Fiat). Distance nearly 600km. After a halt of two days in Thirisoor, drove to Kolloor Mookambika dharshan via Mangalore n then on to Sringeri Saradhamba Dharshan. We then drove to Bangalore to pick up my inlaws n returned to Chennai safely after 15 days from start. I was 62 yrs n wife 54yrs then. Sarvam Krishnarpanam.

I believe its efficient to start the journey at early morning if the trip is 600km or less to avoid driving at night time due to high beam, road safety and bad weather. Note: Don't forget to renew PUCC to avoid fines. 👍

Will start around 10.45 PM Fill Petrol in Vathalagundu (வெற்றிலைகுன்று) Next Stop Samaypuram Toll for Coffee Next Melvaruvathut Petrol Bunk Fill Petrolto be comfortable when entering the City Early morning before dawn Korattur,Pleasant memories I usually try to drive on Tuesdays bcoz Highways will be free anybody Noted why?????
