The original version of this boss used the dance mechanic and had you standing on buttons to guide it to its death, but apparently the old boss got scrapped because it wasn't very fun. Based on the devlogs I thought the new boss was going to move to the rhythm of the music, but I can't tell if that's actually how he works.

I totally agree! The best way to implement it I can think of would be to have it only as one attack, and then have it use all 4 keys. If it was used throughout the entire boss fight it would be incredibly tedious...

This game just have the spirit of how to make a game music Unlike those that would only give you a feeling like castle theme, desert theme, battle theme ... and without a leitmotif throughout the games and their music

You say that, but ironically the game that popularised these concepts (Super Mario World), actually uses a leitmotif between its themes, including its castle theme. The castle theme is just an ominous minor key remix of the main level music. The reason why it wasn't as obvious in SMW was because it wasn't made to be recognisable, rather so just to cut down on composing time by recycling assets.

The second boss wasn’t too bad for me my first time fighting him, but after beating the game on Extremely Easy I had to play on higher difficulties. On Very Easy, I feel like it is three times harder, even though it is just one difficulty up!
