At the 2022 FedEx St. Jude Championship, Will Zalatoris claimed his first victory on the PGA TOUR in dramatic fashion with rounds of 71-63-65-66 to finish at 15-under-par at TPC Southwind.

The top 125 players in the FedExCup Standings will tee it up just outside of Memphis this week in the first of three FedExCup Playoffs events. Scottie Scheffler will head to TPC Southwind leading the FedExCup points list after an incredible 2022 has seen him win four times, including a win at the Masters Tournament in April. Tony Finau heads into the playoffs ranked seventh in the FedExCup Standings after back-to-back victories at the 3M Open and the Rocket Mortgage Classic. The American won the first FedExCup Playoffs event in 2021 and will be hoping to defend his title at a new host golf course. Cameron Smith will return to play for the first time since his victory at The Open. Last year, the Australian narrowly missed out on a victory in the first FedExCup Playoffs event after losing to Tony Finau in a playoff. Sitting in the second position in the FedExCup Standings, a good finish for Smith at the FedEx St. Jude should see him sitting in prime position to challenge for the PGA TOUR’s ultimate prize at the end of the month. Last year’s FedExCup winner Patrick Cantlay, currently sitting in fifth, will look to become the first ever back-to-back FedExCup winner. The 30-year-old has only won once this season at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, but comes into the playoffs in great form, finishing inside the top 10 in his three most recent events.

Will Zalatoris is my favorite player, next to Tiger. I watched this entire tournament & was on pins & needles, I absolutely loved his emotion when he made that putt on #18 in regulation. Not to mention getting it done in the playoff & winning this tournament, I was soooo happy for him!! It’s his turn to win a major, he’s been so close!! Get ‘em Will, your favorite fan!!!!!

Yes yes, I know he's possibly the best chipper and putter on tour, but that putter takeaway is frightening.
