Of course, the writers are the first people to admire in this show, and maybe I’m not very well read on the subject, but I think there’s not enough attention paid to how well will fit into the group and his own character. As someone who’s been dabbling in Acting, as a retiree, I have to say that it feels like it’s a lot harder to have to be a little more subtle and still bring a lot of power to the role. But I would still like to see him play a serious, dramatic role, possibly as a villain or as a family man in dire personal circumstances.

Have you ever watched the show Perception ? The actor who plays Will here, Eric McCormack, was the lead character in Perception, a pretty good drama that lasted 3 seasons, where he is a psychiatrist, consultant solving crimes but he also has schizophrenia & it's about the psychological angle and stuff like that. Eric was great in that serious role too, he could play anything, but of course he'll always be iconic as Will in Will & Grace
