Learning how to tease is a process. It took me like 4 days to learn how to get my wig to look the way I wanted it too. First it was the curling that was a little bit messed up but just like he said its the type of rollers and patterns you use. The teasing part I suggest you go slow at it and personally I used a comb instead of a brush but maybe it was the brush I used? Idk I bought a teasing comb and brush from walmart that was cheap. Comb worked way better but again be very careful with the teasing.

How exactly do you "tame the ends"? My rollers aren't anywhere near as neat as yours and as I roll the hair it starts coming loose, even though I'm maintaining tension :(
