tolles interview...habe Willemijn diesen Monat als Elphaba in Oberhausen gehabt, es war unbeschreiblich toll...jetzt fahr ich am 24ten nochmal hin damit ich sie noch einmal als Elphaba sehen kann, bevor sie die Rolle abgibt!!!

4:10 the stage technic, the decor, the colors, the music, ehh, the costumes, all is so wonderful and so extravagant that I believe immediately at the start all just fits, the voices, the decor can simply enchant Hope it is ok :)

I am Willemijn Verkaik and I am playing the role of Elphaba in the musical Wicked, the witches of oz. Elphaba is very grounded, she is a very strong woman, and wants to have her opinion heard. She wants to stay herself and fight for that and even though she is green, show that she can also be intelligent and pretty and fun to be around. 1:06 The challenge of the role of Elphaba is, I can say a lot. The character development from young girl who is not accepted to a young woman.

Yeah, that would be great. 3:06 I need approximately one hour before I'm really enchanted/changed into Elphaba. Ehrm, yeah 3/4 of an hour in the makeup and then I redress and paint my hands green myself and then *lifts hands* I am ready 3:30 I actually find it quite cool because when I am in the makeup room I meet my other coworkers whom I barely see during the show and I enyoy this moment.

ehrm, she tries to do all things right but then had to decide to turn to the evil side. Also vocally, is it a challenge to be able to sing the very beautiful, difficult songs every day 1:52 I knew from the beginning that the role of Elphaba is much more suitable for me. The Glinda part is a very cool part and I would like to play it once but I beleve the role of Elphaba fits me better, 2:36 What I would conjure if I could do magic myself is.. Well I would like to be able to this *snips*

Ich verstehe einfach nicht, warum man sich für eine non-replica Produktion entschiedent hat. Hätte es so gerne in deutsch nochmal als "Original" gesehen. Naja ist eh finanziell günstiger nach London zu fliegen und dort die Westend Produktion zu sehen :')
