Yeah, that clip is great too. She's always like that, so down to earth. That's what makes her even more amazing. Just the girl nextdoor. I'm lucky; I'm Dutch and understand both English and German (mostly), so I can understand all of her interviews. :) I really hope to meet her once, and see her perform als Elphaba ever again, When I went to see Wicked, I had her understudy. :( Small chance, but gotta keep some hope right?

Jake Zelmore I can understand that. Hope to get that chance too once. Living in The Netherlands would give me a bigger chance meeting her. However, she's abroad most of the time. She has planned to perform at 'Musicals in Concert' (Amsterdam, Ziggo Dome, November 15, 2014), but don't really like concerts in stadiums, bad sound. That, and I don't have the money for those tickets right now... want to go to one of her solo shows one day. :)

Like literally she is perfection. Her riffs and the clarity and in her voice and the fact that she was flipping between 3 languages so SEAMLESSLY. She is posh and beautiful and perfection.

Yes you can. It is the beauty of technology! Everything is separate and then put together at the end. They usually record the instruments first, and then have the singers sing over it. That is what they did here. They had the instrumental playing into her headphones and she sang along with it, but in the studio they only played what was coming from her mic. The computers put everything in separate tracks and they can pick what to listen to. I don't know if an instrumental version is out, though.

What? Not good? I doubt Willemijn is even able to sing bad! She sang it without orchestra, I really don´t wanna hear the likes of someone like Idina sing it that way. Right, she is not special for singing it in 3 different languages, but for being the original german and dutch Elphaba and the fact, that she, as a european, was able to play the leading part in Wicked on broadway. For most american actors it´s difficult to make it to broadway, so they must consider her to be really good.
