The Finals Community desperately wants more content and Season 4 too far away!
Season 3 of The Finals might have changed too much in the game and confused a lot of players, but the game is still maintaining its player count so with more content the game could still grow.

Followed because of your view on this game, the feeling is mutual. I've been down with Jack n you guys since BF4, keep up the great content bud🍻 FPS games with destruction physics is in our DNA, that's why we love these games. How companies put out FPS games in 2024 with no destruction physics blows my mind. The technology is there, they must use it!! The finals is indeed a sleeping giant, and hopefully season 4 wakes it the fuck up😂🎉

People seem to sleep on destruction for some reason. It literally can change the entire flow of the map

Even with the staff on vacation you'd think they could have planned for a few fun mid season events like only explosive weapons / gadgets or only melee weapons (seeing as season 3 had a big focus on melee') and provide some fun rewards

And is anyone surprised by this? I’ve been playing since the closed betas, I was one of the biggest fans, I streamed, I created servers, and now I simply have no desire to struggle through the finals. Why? I don’t know, I just don’t understand the whole thing. Embark releases a game that’s perfect, then spends half a year working on ruining it. Every decision they made when touching the game was wrong. It’s like they handed it over to monkeys to develop. The game is unplayable now, and they’ve strayed so far from the original path that no one believes this will ever become an enjoyable game again... It’s bad in every way. They ruined all the weapons with the nerfs. It used to be fun to shoot with them, even if the damage balance wasn’t perfect, now it’s unbearable. Ranked... A joke... The whole Season 3 is also a joke with this meaningless map. I’m sorry... I’m really sorry for this game, but it’s over...

Rarely have I seen a game this great be ruined solely by its own devs. I mean... what have they been thinking lately?! The game feels like it's in beta again... Pointless changes every week, but not the ones the game needs, or the ones THE WHOLE COMMUNITY HAS BEEN ASKING FOR.

They need to fix match making IMO. People seem to leave games early when the lobby is unbalanced (which seems to happen a lot)

I honestly love the game and have yet to get bored. I love the season 3 additions. Im willing to wait a couple of months as long as they continue to deliver the same quality. This game is about to have a crazy amount of stuff if they add another map, 3 more guns, more gadgets, and more specializations. There are still multiple load outs i haven’t been able to get good at. I believe thats why the play count is going strong. The game quality is fantastic. Continuing that precedence will keep it going!

So what you mentioned above would not be a "crazy amount of content" it would be the bare minimum, maybe not even that. Second, there is no honest way to claim that the play count is still going strong

@@arcanum3882 ⁠ well, i agree ‘crazy’ is the wrong word to use considering the topic is subject without a detailed market analysis… but for me.. i find the amount of content more than sufficient. But, that’s me. Everyone has an opinion.

@@arcanum3882 To your second point, there is more evidence to support the player count than evidence supporting your claim to whats considered a ‘bare minimum’ amount of content. It appears that you are simply unhappy with the game and are venting.

@@JuiceManJ91 Of course I'm unhappy with the game, the devs are squandering an excellent foundation for a huge game. Plus, 15k concurrent players on steam daily is awful and the playerbase has not risen at all from the seasonal content we've been getting.

Downloaded the game months ago never played decided to play today for the first time, instantly hooked. Idk why I took so long smh.

FPS issue, if you do ALT + Enter twice i.e switch to window mode and back then FPS become normal. Otherwise they are half of what you should get. It started happening since last few updates for me.
