Battlefield 1 is simply on another level even 8 years after releasing. Snowy maps are one of the best things in gaming, and this game was the perfect combination of epic sniping and a beautiful snowy map.

Will, not many know it, but in WW1 horses were the most powerful force in the universe. Stronger than tanks, trains, dirigibles and all. Unfortunately they are now extinct just like carrier pigeons. Shame really..

Snowy maps on BF1 are the most gorgeous in the game imo. Shoot the flares on the ground in BF1 where you want them to go. You don't have to launch them in the sky like BF5. They can burn people too if you shoot them with it.

Yes you can hit the horse rider but they have damage reduction on their cavalry class.

BF1 is the goat. Some tips: Shoot the horse in the head/face for crit multiplier, not the rider's head. No vehicles on this particular map (Lupkow Pass or w/e) other than planes and ... Horses. The flares don't need to be in the air, unlike BFV. They will continue to show enemies on minimal even if you aim them at the ground. Hold 'Q' (I think) which is default to bring up requests/comms wheel, where you can request squad orders, medics, or ammo, etc. Keep doing the Lord's work by giving playtime to this unparalleled game.

You can absolutely snipe the horse rider separately from the horse, it just takes several shots because of a buff they have while on the horse. K bullets and headshots will also do more damage to horses and their riders as well. Great video and can’t wait to see more BF1 content from you

I just played a match of Łupków pass last night. Amazing map. Plays fairly well and looks incredible. I was using the firebarrage bomber and got 7 kills at the start of the match doing a run over A. Kept doing that and got another 10 kills. I love using the fire bomber on that map because it's only infantry on the ground. Also there can be some tight groups on the rocks, you can get some great multi kills

Also they took the spawn beacon and gave it to the Infiltrator elite class. So its only on a few of the latter dlc maps. That class in general is really powerful. They have a grenade launcher as a primary, sawed off as a secdary, spawn beacon, and a flare gun that calls in an artillery strike. On maps like Achi Baba having a good Infiltrator can guarantee you a win every time

The horse and rider have separate health bars. the rider has more health then your normal soldier. but the most OP is that the kit has ammo and health every 30 seconds or so. the health works also on the horse healing it. the gun on the horse also has almost perfect hipfire.

I like snowy maps the most because it has it’s beauty and atmosphere. Oh and also because when I was on the military winter sucked ass because it was so cold and you sometimes layed in the snow in a canvas jacket with a rocket launcher for hours. In video games theres no negatives so it’s good

I loved Motorstorm Arctic Edge on PSP. Nice snowy racing game with a cool festival vibe and nice environmental effects for the era. Snowy maps are sweet

My only protip here is to use the flares more accurately. In BFV you launch them up in the air where they stay and the area under the flare gets spotted, very easy to use. In BF1 it only activates when it's on the ground so it's much better to pop them when you're in range of firing them towards a certain spot on the ground that you want covered in a spot radius. Firing high up and you lose a lot of accuracy and may not get the spot area you want at all.

gewehr 95 with iron sights is really nice for a more aggressive because the rate of fire, but most snipers have a sweet spot (where they kill with chest shot) so you can see what range you prefer.

I’d do anything to go back to BF1 being the new title again, full of players. I was hooked on this game through its entire lifespan, gets difficult finding servers in Australia at this point but I have still played it on and off. Absolutely the best BF in my opinion, and one of the best FPS games of all time. Nowadays the FPS scene just feels so samey and boring. BF1 was truly unique and nailed just about everything. 10/10 game.
