This spoke to in so many ways. I didn't know I needed to hear this until I did. Being a Cancer with my Mercury in Gemini I always have the tendency to worry and overthink about my life. I actually break out into cold sweats with nervous tension and let me tell you it's really uncomfortable. Sometimes I'm on a whole other level of paranoia when it comes to how people react about what I say. I mainly just want to make sure everyone's on the same level as me and if their off balance I just FEEL out of whack and OVERTHINK so I can figure out how I can utilize to pull the strings of my life and theirs together. Maybe its hard to understand...sometimes its hard to even understand myself but when I do I still second-guess. Breathe, relax, I'm fine..ha

very spot on I'm a cancer sun with mercury in Gemini and I'm so sensitive and my sensitivity makes me over think like crazy I can analyze every and little thing to a tee and usually I'm right so when I over think negatively I tend to believe that what I'm thinking negatively is true or will manifest and it freaks me out it scares me to contemplate things cause when I do I physically and mentally feel sick ughhhh and I have so much nervous energy I stutter or jumble my words cause I have so much coming to mind. or sometimes I'll overthink so much I'll be too nervous to even speak I also physically shake sometimes and can't stay still and I'm like wtf am I honestly going crazy lol I know I sound hysterical right now but omg this is what I go through on a daily basis :'0. this placement does have benefits though because I pray for wisdom and I feel like it has naturally manifested in my life, common sense comes easy to me and intelligence is most desirable for me so I guess that weighs the other terrible parts out somewhat lol. thanks for the video though I don't feel so alone in my (temporary) misery

I love having this combo, but both my sun and retrograde mercury are in twelfth house so it comes with a lot of social anxiety, self-doubt and over-analysis. I feel that my purpose is to become a counsellor... i'm very good at connecting with people on an emotional level... but i'm too anxious to seriously pursue it. I'll overcome it eventually lol

I'm glad you posted this. It resonates with what I am going through right now. I have sun in cancer (8th house), moon in capricorn (2nd house), mercury (8th house), venus (7th house) and mars (7th house) ALL in gemini. Going through some issues at home with my mother, she's so critical, unempathetic, and narcissistic. growing up there was a lot of struggle and we went through a lot of things I didnt understand at the time, but my mom tried her hardest. (She has a lot of capricorn/sag energy, she had me young, but managed to escape my abusive father when I was a baby, and she worked so hard and is now getting her masters in sociology) I've been trying to deal with my own emotional issues and seeing a counsellor but it's like I have all these wounds on my spirit that she keeps poking at but wont acknowledge are there. I realize now that I have a lot of pent up resentment against her for those things I couldn't understand as a child, maybe for her not being as nurturing as she could've been, for working so hard to keep my physical environment safe she didnt even realize my emotional environment was and has been in turmoil. and I don't think I can heal properly living under her roof. I'm tired of dealing with her issues, I put too much energy into understanding her and she doesn't even try to meet me half way any more. I've been thinking about moving out for awhile now, for months, but I am absolutely terrified. I worry about leaving my sister too, I don't want her to grow up thinking I abandoned her, I don't want my family thinking I am selfish. But I know that it's probably healthier for my sister not to see us verbally attacking each other constantly. I was planning on leaving Monday and I didn't even realize it's a full moon on Monday :P gotta use my cancer hysteria to get past my moms cold capricorn rising mask... unless I'm just being a dramatic cancer cus it's a full moon?... I dunnnooooo mang.

Is Cancer really such a terrible sign? It’s always described so unfortunately. A world plagued by worry and sensitivity, and fears, deep self-doubts, clinging for dear life onto the safety of their mothers, drowned in emotional intensity and blinded by emotional impulses. It just sounds awful to be encased in such a world. Though there are definite positives to being a Cancer (the incredible intuition/psychic ability and grand imagination for example) but the negatives seem to outweigh the positives.
