One word: irreconcilables. At their natural, default states, they're just irreconcilable. Psychological differences just too deep for them to connect. So Scorpio gets bored, Aquarius fears Scorpio's going to destroy their inner peace. Can be good, loyal friends (though not very attached). They can always predict what the other is going to do, and as sometimes they irritate the shit out of each other, it's good if they give themselves a break before resuming the relationship (talking about friends here). Ugh.... Aquarius sun, Aries rising, Sag moon. My late Mother was a Scorpio. Highly controlling and as an Aquarius, that didn't work so well for me. Ex BF is a Scorpio too. He drove me nuts, always up my butt. So needy and clingy, both Mom and the ex. I tend to stear clear of Scorpios now. It's just easier for all.
