Bill was like the Grandfather that I never had. Even though he has been gone for many years, like Bob Ross. Their vids help them to teach the masses and live eternally in our hearts and memories. God Bless his soul as he has blessed us. He will always be missed.

yeah bob ross does put people to sleep, but thats why he's so popular, bob is the master of helping people relax, his show isn't really about painting, its about his personality and calmness, he induces relaxation, thats the point, thats why he is so loved, because the stress and anxiety of life melts away when you watch and listen to bob ross...lol thats what he does..his aiblity help people relax is why so many people watched him, it wasn't the paintings, bill is the better painter but bob is the people person..bill is agressive, loud intense, bob is the exact opposite and thats why his show become so popular...it wssn't about some painting technique.

Ross used an unimaginably thick amount of paint and I guess maybe for old style tvs it was brightened but this MASTER does it how I imagine, scrape it in thin make it hard to work, not slap half an inch on. Fantastic painter and very entertaining

I Watched a bob Ross video just last night where he was talking about men like cold colors like blue and women like warmer colors and whatever matches their decor and to keep that in mind if you want to sell your art... strange. I noticed volume also says 'Almighty'. Who said it first?
@danielruggiero52304 жыл бұрын
Bill originated the “almighty” phrase on his show - so he said it first (and used it on all of his programs) Bob later used “almighty” for the first 6 series of “Joy of Painting” he stopped saying this around series 7 [after he left Magic Art & started BRI; I read somewhere that Bob had a dispute with the owner of Magic Art, Sid Knudsen & this began the Alexander-Ross feud]
@RameyRocks4 жыл бұрын
