That passion when singing in Spanish is really very difficult to see in someone, but he does it with respect and with all his soul. My respects and that is why many Mexicans are starting to follow him and this is just beginning because if Mexicans feel that he is sincere, they adopt him as one of their own. His grandparents are from Chihuahua, Mexico. He's American of Mexican descent. Moreover, his Spanish sounds just like a Native speaker from Mexico. At the Grand Old Opry, he was singing Vicente Fernandez', "Volver, Volver," if that's not throwing his Mexican heritage in your face, I don't know what is.
