William Bedford is a true MEMPHIS legend I remember when he came to my school Oakshire elementary when I was in the 4th grade to see my homie Anthony Smith who was his lil cousin or nephew I can't remember but he had to duck down to come in our classroom door mane we went crazy cause he played for MEMPHIS STATE back then I shook his hand and I had to look straight up mane he is a real giant and I was the tallest kid in my class, I only grew to be 6'9 but I'll never forget seeing him and shaking his hand as a kid. I coulda went pro but I got shot in south Memphis and f*cked that all up once I got better I went to the Marine Corp. All young athletes please stay away from the street sh*t cause it will ruin your career completely. 💪💖💯

In my experience when it comes to businesses, security is always the last thing that is considered and the last thing (except if you're talking about a nightclub or something like that) that is paid for. I have seen many a business that start out without security, then an incident happens and then they go out and get security. There is a McDonalds restaurant near me that never had security until, some school kids got into a fight and broke they're front window and kicked out the door glass. Guess what they had in the restaurant after the repairs were made?!

We were just speaking about Bedford last week or the week before last. He was one of the most amazing athletes to come out of Memphis; he ran like a deer and had size. Interesting that from a physical standpoint the player he reminds me of most is Rodman. Rodman saw what he could be and reached out, back in the day, and so did Zeke as I remember. I wish him well! If he loved the game as half as Zeke, worm, or MJ he may have been in the hall.

I missed William Bedford, he was a key piece on the 1989-90 Pistons and he got more time in 1990-91...but he could score like Kevin Durant and his size but he just didn't shoot a lot in games, big men then just kept into 15 feet and those guys in that front court, he had to beat out Bill Laimbeer, James Edwards, John Salley, and Dennis Rodman -- those were the guys he had to beat to get time.... So William Bedford could get it done, it was just hard for him to get consistent time on the floor... I just wish he could have lifted more weights, develop his post game more. I still think he could have done a great job even after the Pistons lost in '91... I would have played him a lot more in '91-'92...but just didn't happen for some reason?
