William hurt strikes me as a great guy. This interview was very enjoyable as well as the one for "A History of Violence"

He was. A great, great man.

It really helped that William Hurt is a Hulk fan, because he's Thunderbolt from the comics in flesh, both visually and psychologically. Probably can't get any closer.

he is one of the most brilliant actors of our time... I had to study his acting for an acting class years ago.. He is soooo underappreciated... I don't know why... He is one actor that I just delight in whatching, he is Meryl's twin when it comes to acting..you just don't see technique.. they are just the character..

Appreciated of what you said. But I really don't think Meryl Streep is nearly as good as he was. Her characters are often psychos. And I do admit that she really did a hell of a good job playing them. But William Hurt could really, truly play, or to say "be" any characters as long as he wanted. He was WAY better than Meryl could ever be.

william hurt makes odder movies than ed harris. ed harris works more as well i think. I saw some of william hurts role and i was like:??? that's very strange selection of movies. I always found something interesting about edd harris He seems to like to play figures of respect and authority:like policemen For some odd reason is that william hurt likes villain roles alot.

You’re very short sighted.

William Hurt is not only a better actor than Sam Elliot, who plays the same role in every movie he's in, but he LOOKS more like Thuderbolt Ross too. Ross doesn't have stubbled hair.

The first Hulk film is ok but not great. It should be a great, highly entertaining movie but somehow it misses the mark. But the second Hulk film really is great! It's far better than the first Hulk. This is the second film where William Hurt does a Jekyll and Hyde theme (the first such film he did was Altered States. Though the Hulk is Frankenstein meets Jekyll And Hyde).

He was absolutely TERRIBLE in this film. His performance was the only bad thing about an otherwise decent film. I would have preferred it if they had just recast Sam Elliot in the role, even if it was a reboot, i don't care, Sam Elliot was the only one who should have been brought back. I HATED HATED HATED HATED HATED WILLIAM HURT IN THIS FILM!!!!!!!!

WHAT?! He and Tim Roth were the best parts of this film.
@caflagel3 жыл бұрын
@@SpFlash1523 I’m glad you think so. :) Tim Roth is pretty good in general, I’ve never been much of a William Hurt fan. He’s always so dry and lifeless. Man, I made that comment ten years ago. Time flies. My opinion has changed slightly since then. In that first comment, I referred to “The Incredible Hulk” as a decent film. Nowadays I think the film just sucks. Tim Blake Nelson was the MVP for me. Looking back on that comment, even though I’m not a fan of the actor, I may have been a might too brutal in voicing my dismay. Lol.
