Cool! I was a transfer too! There aren't any curtains but there are blinds. I vaguely remember reading a rule that said curtains aren't allowed, but honestly you could probably get away with having them if you really want to. The worst they'll do is make you take them down haha

Hi! I'm not going to share my specific room number since I still live here, but a room with the same dimensions is 257! Although most singles in the building will be either the exact same or vary only slightly from this configuration. As for the older tour, none of the furniture or carpeting from that time is still in use as that stuff was all leftover from when the building was a hotel. Every room will have the basic furniture, flooring, and wall color that you see in this video!

Unfortunately not! This is an upper-level dorm, so you will find mostly juniors and seniors (and occasionally a lucky sophomore) living here.

Hello! I got myself a single room for OTP this morning through my room selection time slot, and after watching this video I'm curious about a few things: 1. About the shower/bath tub, you mentioned that we have to provide our own shower curtain and rings, is that true for all the rooms at OTP? 2. Why is the room so spacious? It looks amazing! lol

Congrats!! 1. Yes, you will need to provide your own shower curtain and rings regardless of what room you have in OTP. 2. The building used to be a hotel, so the rooms weren't built to normal dorm size specifications! They also got rid of all of the old hotel furniture, gross carpet, and ugly wallpaper that made the space feel small in the renovations, so now the rooms feel crazy big haha Let me know if you have any other questions!! :)

Hello, Wondering if you had any priority room selection? And if so, how many available singles were there when you signed up? I’m debating whether or not I should give up my current single for the possibility of getting one at OTP😭

Hi!! I didn't have priority but I got a really good timeslot because I was a senior (a junior signing up for my senior year lol). There were a lot of rooms left when I signed up, but it was the first day and they seemed to be going really fast. I don't envy the choice you have to make; It's so hard to know what to do because a lot of it is luck!!

Hi! I just got my room assignment and got an OTP double. I was wondering if the room came with the mini-fridge, or if you brought it yourself. Also, were all of the rooms renovated, both singles and doubles?

Hi!! Congrats on the great room assignment! The entire building was renovated, so doubles will look very similar to this but with two sets of furniture and a slightly different bathroom/closet configuration. Each person gets a full-sized bed, a desk, a chair, and a chest of drawers, but you will have to provide your own mini-fridge! I bought mine from Target, but there is the option of renting on through dorms-direct. Let me know if you have any other questions!
